Rocky Ridge Ranch (RRR) bordering the Duck Mountains of the Swan River Valley, MB, is excited to present carefully selected Quarter Horses, aiming to create long-lasting equine partners for the public. Glen & Melinda Nichiporuk offer a unique program that takes every horse born on their ranch through a series of imprinting, trust, respect, and continuous learning before they end up in the hands of their new owners. RRR aims to take the best genetics from structural soundness - from hoof to what's between their ears, and produce intelligent, mentally safe horses. A mix between genetics and the thankless everyday efforts of a solid program can ensure a solid foundation for each RRR horse to continue on.

We were casually looking for a potential ranch horse. I came across the RRR Facebook page and reached out to see if they had anything that may fit our needs and budget. Melinda responded with a few horses available that were potential fits and a red roan filly caught my eye. Upon viewing her in person, I was sold.
She had a solid foundation on her and was extremely level headed. You can tell Melinda had put good respectable work into Tali. She was off of the Frenchman's Dynasty stallion, we loved her bone structure and good feet.
Melinda gave us a tour of the facilities and all the horses. It was clean, organized and the horses were well looked after. We would have brought more home if we could that day. We will defiantly reach out to RRR first for our next horse as we can see the quality they put into their facility and horses alike.

One mare I hold special to me was a mare named Princess from RRR. From the ranch's very first foal crop she showed me all the desirable traits I could be looking for in training & showing my first cowhorse.
Princess had great athletic ability, her turnarounds were effortless. She was a very willing partner to train and was forgiving of the different methods I would change to get my desired results with her.
She was kind and personable, I trusted the foundation Melinda had put into her. I often carried my own child on her without worry. RRR did an exceptional job in the first stages of her life creating confidence in her.
